TEXAS – Preventable vascular infections plaguing elderly patients in Houston area hospitals. Yang Wang covers this story for the Houston Chronicle. Medicare attributes these infections to unsanitary conditions and improper proceedures. So much for the “unforseeable complication” excuse.
