USA: Ronald Bailey on Comparative Effectiveness Research

Posted on June 6, 2011

USA: I wanted to call your attention to a thoughtful article written by Ronald Bailey and published a few days before the long Memorial Day weekend. As often happens during a holiday week, many good stories are overlooked. You might have caught this one but just in case it slipped past your radar, here’s the link. Ronald’s report is on the patient deaths we are likely to incur as the direct effect of the government’s new $1.1 billion dollar “Comparitive Effectiveness Research” program. Actually, its a chilling read; probably good you didn’t see this one before your long weekend.
